This tube, known as an endoscope, is connected to a monitor. On the monitor, a close-up view of the tissues is displayed, giving Dr. Gantous the ability to perform the procedure very precisely.

Dr. Gantous then uses different techniques to reposition the muscles and other tissues. Once this is done, Dr. Gantous closes the incisions using sutures. The incisions are dressed carefully to protect them as they heal.

Before the Procedure

After the Procedure

The recovery process after an endoscopic forehead lift is shorter than that of a traditional forehead lift, since the incisions made as part of this technique are smaller. The dressing applied during the surgery will be taken off a week after the procedure date. Immediately after, patients are likely to notice some slight swelling and redness around the area where the surgery has been performed. These are temporary side effects of the procedure and will disappear within a few days.

Patients must refrain from physical exertion in order to avoid any strain to the incision sites. This means stopping normal exercise routines and taking time off from jobs that are physically taxing.

The results of the procedure are visible once the swelling has come down. These appear in the form of a wrinkle-free brow and well-defined eyebrows that no longer sag.
